Health Coaching

“Health Coaching is health coaching. Everyone has health coaching”.

This thought is common when researching a wellness company, but could not be further from the truth in our case.

We believe in two factors that come first, compassion and confidence. Primarily, we choose and train our health coaches to take into account that everyone has or needs a personal definition of fitness. With compassion, we can formulate this definition. Secondly, we must have coaches that realize that we “sell” confidence. We want to facilitate the attitude of increased confidence, not increased weakness awareness.

We are experts in achieving this attitude.

Our programs offer health coaching at two major levels:

  1. Health Coach Button – At anytime, you may contact a health coach by email by simply going to the “Health Coach” button. In a timely fashion, all diet and exercise concerns will be addressed.
  2. Telephonic Health Coaching – Our telephonic health coaches are available from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday. During these times, calls can be taken to cover topics concerning all health and wellness concerns including our exercise and nutrition programs.
  3. Designer Aid – If all else fails, you can actually get in contact through our health coaches with the designer of all of our programs. Now this is real health coaching!

Our email health coaches are well trained and certified, degreed, and mastered in the exercise and nutrition field. They are experts on the Complete Core Plus Program.
Our telephonic health coaches are highly experienced, educated, licensed, and certified.
Below is our common telephonic health coach profile.

Education
Health Coaches will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a health related field.  Those individuals who maintain certificates and licenses are updated annually.

Experience
Health Coaches will have educational and professional experience in one or more of the following fields:

  • Health Science
  • Public Health
  • Health Education
  • Nutritionist or Dietician
  • Corporate Wellness
  • Counseling

Training
Health Coaches will all be required to successfully complete training covering the following areas:

  • Intake and assessment
  • Integrating company benefits
  • Wellness education
  • Developing a personalized Wellness Plan
  • Working with the database
  • Stages of change and behavior change support
  • Motivation skills
  • Referral and follow-up

All health educators participate in regular trainings and follow a proprietary “Behavior Change Guide” specifically developed for health management and lifestyle behavior change.

All programs follow a three-step process, which identify the member’s stage of change, deliver key messages and broadly stated questions, and focus on pivotal levers for change.

All program interventions provided are educationally based and focus on sustainable lifestyle and behavior change. This process ensures a consistent approach yet allows and encourages individual differences ensuring a higher rate of participant success.
In addition, Health Coaches are all certified by the American Lung Association as Smoking Cessation Facilitators.
